David Mack is the New York Times bestselling author of roughly thirty novels of science fiction, fantasy, and adventure, including the bestselling Star Trek Destiny and Cold Equations trilogies.

Beyond novels, Mack’s writing credits span several media, including television (for episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), film, and comic books.

Mack’s latest published works are the novel 24: Rogue and the short stories “Our Possible Pasts,” in the anthology 2113: Stories Inspired by the Music of Rush, and “Midnight Rider,” in the horror-fantasy anthology Out of Tune, Vol. 2.

Summer of 2016 will see the publication of Mack’s Star Trek: Legacies, Book II: Best Defense, part of a new trilogy celebrating the 50th anniversary of the venerable science-fiction franchise.

Coming in 2017 from Tor Books will be Dark Arts, Mack’s new trilogy of magic-fueled secret-history novels, starting with The Midnight Front, a World War II-era fantasy adventure. Also on the horizon from Mack are two new Star Trek novels, Section 31: Control and Titan: Fortune of War.
