While perusing articles this evening on Huffington Post, I stumbled across the news that Nora O’Brien, 44, NBC Universal’s executive in charge of drama programming, collapsed and died on April 29 while visiting the set of a series in development.
Nora used to work as a development executive at the SCI FI Channel during my years there, and though I had only limited dealings with her, she was a lovely person and a consummate professional.
Only 44 years old. Dammit. It’s just heartbreaking.
*Raising my glass.* Farewell, Nora.
