The Salt Mine Report: June
To the casual observer, it might seem as if I don’t do much that looks like work, choosing instead to spend my time posting pictures of bunnies. The Shore Leave Roast of Bob Greenberger
I admit this has taken up more of my time than I should have allowed. I have been writing and rewriting scripts for myself, the roastmaster, and others; updating running schedules, logistical plans, and production notes; securing equipment reservations and writing checks to cover production costs; replacing two key personnel at the last minute; planning ahead for post-production and DVD prep; and generally doing whatever has been necessary to keep this runaway train from jumping the track and plunging into a ravine of chaos. Will it all be worth it? We’ll find out on Friday night.
The rest of my time is spent on such mundane trifles as washing dishes, caring for cats and plants, dropping off or picking up laundry, planning menus, buying groceries, and, when I can muster the willpower, going to the gym for much-needed exercise.
