See you at the con, folks!

My updated NYCC 2014 schedule (#SFWApro)

Find me at NY Comic Con!

This just in! I have accepted an invitation (for which I shamelessly begged) to join a panel at New York Comic Con:

On the evening of Saturday, October 11, from 7:15PM–8:00PM, in Room 1A24, I’ll join Mark Altman (Free Enterprise), Scott Mantz (Access Hollywood), Edward Gross (“The Fifty-Year Mission”), Vic Mignona (Star Trek Continues), Steve Melching (Star Wars: The Clone Wars), David E. Williams (Geek Magazine), and Chase Masterson (Leeta on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) to discuss the long, storied history of Star Trek.

REMINDERI will be signing with fellow Star Trek author Kevin Dilmore at the Simon & Schuster table in Booth #1828 on Thursday, October 9, from 3PM–4PM. Copies of my most recent novel, Star Trek: Seekers #1, and advance copies of my upcoming novel Section 31: Disavowed will be available for purchase at the con.

seekers2_croppedAlso on sale will be Star Trek: Seekers #2. Kevin will be signing those, and he will have pre-signed bookplates from his writing partner and hetero life partner, Dayton Ward, so that you can have both authors’ scribbles in your book.

I’ll also be happy to sign any of my books you already own and want to bring with you to either event.

So, if you’re coming to New York Comic Con, you now have two chances to see me in action and snag autographs. See you at the show, folks!

New York Comic Con signing — Thursday only!

ST.Section.31.Disavowed.CvrIf you’ll be attending New York Comic Con this year, you won’t want to miss the first day — because that’s when I and Kevin Dilmore will be signing at the Simon & Schuster table in Booth #1828!

We’ll be there on Thursday, October 9, from 3PM–4PM, to sell you copies of Star Trek: Seekers #1 by yours truly, and Star Trek: Seekers #2, by Kevin Dilmore and Dayton Ward.  Kevin will have adhesive bookplates signed in advance by Dayton, so if you haven’t yet picked up signed copies of the Seekers novels, this will be your best chance to snag both at once.

Also scheduled to go on sale exclusively at New York Comic Con will be a limited supply of advance copies of my new novel Section 31: Disavowed. If that doesn’t get your Trek-motor revved up, I don’t know what will.

See you on the con floor, folks!

Cover revealed for Section: 31 – Disavowed

I’ve been champing at the bit to share this bit of beauty! Masterful veteran illustrator Tim Bradstreet has created the original art for the cover of my upcoming novel Star Trek: Section 31 – Disavowed. Gaze upon its ineffable coolness:

Keen observers might note details from Doctor Julian Bashir’s personnel file, as well as ghosted graphics from Geoffrey Mandel’s influential volume, Star Trek Star Charts.

In all seriousness, this is one of my favorites of all the covers that have ever graced one of my books. Now I just hope that my story lives up to the tremendous awesomeness of the work that Tim, the S&S art department, and editor Ed Schlesinger put into its cover.

I guess we’ll find out in October.
