See me on Russ’s Rockin’ Rollercoaster

A week from tonight, I’ll be the guest on the next Zoom-powered episode of Russ’s Rockin’ Rollercoaster, an Internet-based half-hour interview/talk show run by my pal Russ Colchamiro.

We’ll talk generally about my writing for science fiction and fantasy, and specifically about my work for Star Trek and my original fantasy series Dark Arts.

If you want to watch the show LIVE and take part in its Q&A portion, you need to register in advance here. You’ll get the viewing link after you sign up. But be chill—the tickets are FREE!

If you miss the live show don’t sweat it; Russ will post it a few days later to YouTube.

I hope to catch some of your crazy cats live on THURSDAY, JULY 30, from 8:00pm – 8:30pm EDT.

Running my mouth on The G&T Show

seekers3_largeA few days ago I was persuaded to once again call into and be interviewed by the folks at The G&T Show. This time my interrogators were hosts Nick Minecci and Michael Madeiros.

We talked about a wide range of topics, including the ups and downs of the writing life, my recently published works (Star Trek: Seekers #3 – Long Shot and 24: Rogue), and my upcoming projects (book two of the Star Trek: Legacies trilogy and Dark Arts, my own historical fantasy trilogy for Tor Books).

Listen to the entire interview here.

Yak Alert! Seekers on Literary Treks

Never one to refuse an invitation to flap my trap, I’m back on a yak attack talking Star Trek: Seekers and more with Matt and Dan from Literary Treks on Trek.fm!

LitTreks_Seekers3_long promo

We cover a lot of details about the series’ third book, Long Shot, and we even dig into some more personal aspects of the creative process, and talk about how much of myself I invest into my characters, and how I do so. As is our wont, we also had a few good laughs in the process.

I also teased a few details about my upcoming original series of novels for Tor Books,  click through and give it a listen.

Hear me and others gab about The Fall

Last weekend, I took part in a roundtable discussion with fellow New York Times bestselling authors Dayton Ward, David R. George III, and James Swallow. We yakked with host Sina Alvarado of the Ten Forward podcast about our work on the recently published five-book Star Trek literary miniseries The Fall.

We also spend more time than we probably should have discussing our preferred beverages to quaff while writing.

I have it on good authority that the highlight of our hour-long conversation is the five-minute roll of bloopers and outtakes at the end of the show, so make sure you stick around for that auditory treat.
